Terms of service

Who we are

InsolvencyRadar is operated by TW Works, a sole trader registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 99463547 (VAT ID NL005388590B47). Contact: [email protected].

What the service is

InsolvencyRadar reports corporate insolvency notices published in The Gazette, matched to Companies House numbers, through public company pages, monitoring plans with email and webhook alerts, a JSON API and an MCP server. Plans are sold for business use.

What it is not

The service reports what The Gazette has published. It is not a credit score, a prediction, or legal or financial advice. A company with no notice on record is not thereby shown to be solvent. The stage we show is our reading of the notice type; the official notice is the authority. Decide on credit and payments with your own judgement.

Plans and payment

  • Prices are shown on the pricing page and paid through Stripe. Once checkout completes you create your API key in your dashboard; it is shown once and never sent by email.
  • Monthly and yearly plans start with a 7-day free trial. A card is required at checkout and nothing is charged during the trial. During it your key has a reduced allowance (25 watched companies, 50 checks). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the plan is charged on day 8 and renews monthly or yearly, as chosen, from then.
  • Monthly plans renew each month and yearly plans each year until cancelled. Cancel from Plan & billing in your dashboard or by email; the plan stops at the end of the period already paid for.
  • Refunds: a yearly payment, the first one or a renewal, is refunded in full if you ask within 30 days of the charge; your access and that year's checks then end. After 30 days a yearly payment is not refunded, and cancelling stops the next renewal. Monthly payments are not refunded; cancelling stops the next one.
  • A check is one status lookup through the API or MCP server, including a lookup that finds no notice. One-off check packs do not expire.
  • There is no free API tier. The public company pages are free to read.

Your key and fair use

Keep your API key confidential; requests made with it count against your plan. Do not try to bypass rate limits, disrupt the service, or access accounts that are not yours. We may suspend a key that is used to abuse the service, and will tell you why.

Data and attribution

Notice information is public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. If you republish it, attribute The Gazette as that licence requires.

Availability

We read The Gazette every hour and aim to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, that every notice will be matched to a company, or that alerts will arrive at any particular time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it arose.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Material changes to a paid plan are notified by email. These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
