# InsolvencyRadar

> UK company insolvency status by company number, from every corporate insolvency notice in The Gazette, with alerts when a watched company gets a new notice. Web pages are free to read; the API and MCP server need a paid key.

## What it is

InsolvencyRadar reads every corporate insolvency notice published in The Gazette (the UK's official public record) every hour, matches each one to its Companies House number, and publishes one page per company with its notice history. Customers watch lists of company numbers and receive an email and a webhook the day a new notice appears.

It tells a solvent members' voluntary liquidation apart from an insolvent liquidation by the notice type, even though The Gazette uses the same notice titles for both.

- Credit controllers and finance teams watching their customers and suppliers
- Software and AI agents that need a company's insolvency status by number
- Not for: individuals (personal insolvency notices are not covered), or credit scoring

## Key facts

- Coverage: companies registered in England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The Netherlands is planned.
- Agents can buy a key without a signup: POST /api/v1/purchase {"email", "plan"} returns checkout_url (a person pays once) and a claim_secret; GET /api/v1/purchase/{claim_id} with header X-Claim-Secret returns the API key once paid. Details: /docs/api.
- Receipts: every paid status check (API or MCP) returns a signed receipt (Ed25519) at a public /receipts/{id} link stating what was shown and when; public key at /receipts/key.json.
- Pricing: Monitor 250 companies €19/month or €190/year, Monitor 1,000 €49/month or €490/year (yearly = two months free, with 12 months of checks at once), API 5,000 checks €100. No free API tier; the monthly and yearly plans start with a 7-day trial (card required, 25 watches and 50 checks during the trial). Customers manage the watchlist, key and webhook at /account (sign-in by emailed link).
