API and MCP

Insolvency status by company number, for your software or your agent

A JSON API and an MCP server over every UK corporate insolvency notice in The Gazette. Every request needs a key: plans start at €19 a month.

Authentication

Send your key as a bearer token. Keys start with ir_.

curl https://insolvencyradar.com/api/v1/companies/uk/03536200 \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer ir_your_key"

Check a company

GET /api/v1/companies/uk/{company_number} costs one check. A company with no notice on record answers 200 with "found": false, which is also a useful answer, and costs a check too.

Watchlist

  • GET /api/v1/watches: the companies you watch.
  • POST /api/v1/watches with {"company_number": "03536200", "label": "Customer 4411"}: watch a company. Watching a company with no notice yet is the point: you hear when its first one appears.
  • DELETE /api/v1/watches/uk/{company_number}: stop watching.

Each new notice for a watched company sends an email and, if you gave us a webhook URL, a POST with type: "insolvency.event" and the same company and event objects as above. Webhook URLs must be https on a public address.

Errors

Errors are JSON with an error code and a message: 401 unauthenticated, 402 payment_required (no checks left, or the plan has lapsed), 404 not_found, 422 invalid, 429 when rate limited.
